I hope you know that no matter where you are in your life, there’s a place for you in God’s family. God has put it on my heart to make sure every relationship is restored and flourishing in your life. Here at Perfecting Home Church, we believe miracles are attained when man’s ability and understanding have been exhausted. Many of you are experiencing brokenness – whether in your body, your emotions, your finances or your relationships – and you have given up hope of being healed, restored or recovered. Did you know that consistently “doing” God’s word, not just “hearing” it, will cause a miracle in your life? Jesus said, ...
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matt. 7:24-26)
Imagine arriving at the shore after that storm, finding your house is the only one still standing and realizing every other house has been destroyed. That would be a miracle! This is what applying Jesus’ words to our lives produce. 1. Trust Jesus to be the truth. 2. “Do” what He says, no matter how awkward it makes us feel, and 3. Receive the miracles that come with obedience. It’s that simple! 🙂

Since the age of 7, Marvin’s heart has been captured by God’s grace. Since 16, he knew he would pastor. Now after 20 years of marriage to the perfect wife and having become father to four wonderful children, God’s timing has caught up with purpose and PHC has been born.

Among her many unbreakable records as a mother and wife, her infectious joy and beautiful smile make her terribly hard to stay sad around. Her strong desire to affect change in girls and young women guides her ministry decisions. A gifted intecessor, Monique has a heart that is satisfied most while seeking God’s presence.

God wants us to represent Him in the earth. It starts with family. It all began with a man who couldn’t do it alone. He was given a woman and his “I” would forever be changed to “WE.” The two would become one flesh, which is best represented in their children. The rest is history. God shows up in the family structure and our humility in Him will allow us to keep that structure together.
